This week wrapped up Inspired by Science Camp Artesia with an epic egg zipline and some homemade ice cream. CVE joined in on the fun at the Artesia Public Schools Administration Building on Friday, July 7, 2023 to assist with the zipline.

Last year CVE joined the egg drop challenge and dropped the eggs from the bucket truck, this year a zipline was created to add another level to the classic egg drop. Campers were tasked with making a pod for the egg to travel down the line on and create a landing pad for the egg to land safely on the ground

Activities ranged from a scribble bot, to a propeller car, a ball launcher, a camp favorite, making ice cream, and more. Campers were challenged to use their critical thinking skills to work on and complete the different projects. Many campers had a favorite activity, but the general consensus was that EVERYTHING was their favorite project to work on.
