A full-time artist since 2008, he is inspired by the vibrant sunsets of New Mexico, Native American cultures, places he has visited, and other artists, friends, and family. Oscar’s works are a mixture of bright and dark colors, resulting in bold contrast.
My artwork is my passion, and the journey it has taken me on has been extremely rewarding.
I remember when I first started paining, I used my fingers because I was not good at cleaning my brushes and brushes were getting expensive due to my lack of cleaning them!
I am blessed as I feel everyone is an artist, and in this place with many other artists, I am excited when I get asked to paint for others. I want my art and paintings to bring a sense of peace to those who see it.
I want to express my gratitude and thank everyone who has helped me along my career: my family, friends, and the communities who have bought my art and who have helped me and given me amazing opportunities to display my artwork.
