The Artesia Public Schools will be holding a College Fair on campus in the parking lot just south of the high school office next Wednesday, September 28 from 8a-12p. The are expecting over 20 colleges from New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma, and Wyoming, according to Mrs. Anessa Golden, Guidance Counselor at Artesia High.

The 2nd Annual APS Career Fair will be happening on Richardson Street from 10th St. to the Red Brick Gym from 12:30 to 2:30pm. “We are anticipating over 30 vendors at the career fair,” said Golden. “It’s not too late for businesses to take part. Contact the Artesia Chamber of Commerce to participate.” The event will expose high school students to potential future careers and will include a live non-invasive podiatry surgery, live ultrasound scans, and presentations every 10 minutes.
