Focus Artesia Spring 2021 | A Collection of Collections
A Collection of Stamps
When I was a little girl, my grandmother got me into stamp collecting. When I would visit her, she would have an envelope full of stamps waiting for me. I would bring them home and place them neatly in my book. We saved everything from one-cent stamps to stamps from other countries around the world. I don’t know if there’s any value to it other than how sentimental it is to me. This was “our” thing. My grandmother passed away when I was 13 and I didn’t save much after that, but I will always cherish what we saved together.
