This past season marked the 34th year of Christmas on the Pecos, and fittingly, the celebration shined for 34 magical nights. Thousands of visitors and local families came together along the river to share in a tradition that continues to grow because of the dedication, pride, and spirit of the people who call Carlsbad home.

With the holiday lights now stored away, our Chamber is already shifting gears toward a full slate of community events. This spring brings Brews on the Pecos: a celebration of craft beer, local flavor, and the vibrant social spirit that defines our town. As summer approaches, we are gearing up for our newly branded June car show, Rumble on the Pecos. This event brings enthusiasts from across the region, but at its heart, it is a celebration of Carlsbad—our creativity, our hospitality, and our love for gathering as a community.

As we move into the new year, we want to encourage everyone to shop local and support the businesses that keep Carlsbad and Eddy County thriving. Every purchase made close to home strengthens our economy, supports local jobs, and helps ensure that beloved events like Christmas on the Pecos, Brews on the Pecos, and Rumble on the Pecos continue to flourish.

Most importantly, we want to recognize that our greatest asset is our people. The friendships formed here, the connections built through shared experiences, and the pride we take in celebrating where we live are what truly define Carlsbad. Thank you for showing up, giving back, and helping this community shine year after year.
