Mark Anthony Foreman, 53, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. Mark was born on December 20, 1968, in Lufkin, TX to Elijah and Alfreda Foreman.
There will be no visitation, and cremation has taken place. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, April 29, 2022, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Eugene Ford officiating. The family asks that those in attendance wear a mask. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mark and his family moved to Carlsbad when he was at the young age of 7. After graduating from the Carlsbad High School in 1988, he went to the Cooper Institute in Dallas, TX and graduated 3rd in his class in becoming a personal trainer. Mark had a passion for health and wellness, and loved helping others become the best version of themselves. He started his family in the early 2000’s, and became the proud father of his two children. Mark also enjoyed wood working, was an accomplished percussionist, enjoyed playing pool, and hunting. He was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Earl Foreman and Signora Foreman; maternal grandparents: Luther White, Jr. and Tommie White; and many more beloved family members.
Mark is survived by his two children: Renee Foreman and Mark Foreman both of Washington; father, Elijah Foreman, Sr. of Mosco, TX; mother, Alfreda Foreman of Carlsbad, NM; three siblings: Elijah Foreman, Jr. of Lubbock, TX; Donna Ford and husband, Eugene of Lubbock, TX; Anthony Foreman of Carlsbad, NM; Regina Berry of Cleveland, TX; and Melonie Mays of Carrigan, TX; one nephew and two nieces: Avery Ford, Claire Ford, and Lacey Foreman; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
