Carlsbad MainStreet has been privileged to partner with oil and gas companies in our region for many years.
Outside of events, we have partnered on projects to enhance and beautify our downtown for years to come. The Gazebo project on the courthouse lawn was supported by AR Foreman Construction, LLC. The replacement of our benches and trash receptacles in the district was supported by XTO Energy. The Carlsbad Bat Wings mural was supported by Chevron, just to name a few over recent years. Last year, we also partnered with ConocoPhillips to bring the Small Biz Builder to our community. The Small Biz Builder was a free course for locally owned businesses to help take their business to the next level and work with experts in different areas of small business development.
The employees of oil and gas companies are also amazing volunteers for our organization. If you are familiar with the nonprofit world, you know volunteers are what help our events succeed, and we wouldn’t be able to do the work that we do without willing hands being ready to assist. The employees that companies bring to our area invest themselves in the communities where they live, and they partner with the organizations that are supported through the revenue that oil and gas have brought to our area. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for all of the support and partnerships that we have been fortunate enough to experience with our oil and gas companies in recent years. Here is to 100 years of your presence, commitment, and growth of our region, and we are looking forward to many more to come!

Kat Davis
I am the Executive Director for Carlsbad MainStreet/Arts & Cultural District. My career began in 2020 as the Director for Carlsbad’s Pearl of the Pecos ACD and at the beginning of 2022 the MainStreet board merged these positions into one. I was born and raised in Ireland and have a diverse background that drives my passion to make my community a better place through many different service organizations, volunteering, and our work through Carlsbad MainStreet.
