Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for children of Eddy County is hosting a community baby shower during the week of May 8th-12th. The purpose of the event is to provide newborns and babies that are in foster care with items they need.

There is an Amazon wish list as well as a physical list. That way anyone can donate from anywhere. Locally items can be purchased at area stores, and for those that aren’t able to get to a brick and mortar store, the online option exists to help out. 

Items needed include car seats, diapers, wipes, clothes, blankets, diaper bags, books, and any other baby essentials. Items can be dropped off all week long between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm at 118 W Mermod St Carlsbad NM 88220. For more information call the office at 575.887.5966
