For several months, music teachers and 5th grade students across Artesia have been learning songs in anticipation of the All-City Choir performance. As the day drew near, the excitement only increased as it was almost time to put all this hard work on display.
This morning after breakfast, students loaded buses to meet together as a group. A fun field day, students not only rehearsed songs but also enjoyed dance breakout sessions and even viewed a performance by Artesia High School’s Show Choir. The day undoubtedly was full of entertainment and energy!
Tonight at 6:00 pm at the Estelle H. Yates Auditorium, we are all invited to experience this entertainment and energy for ourselves. Not only will this concert showcase the talent of so many students, it will also be another opportunity to take in the recent renovations made in the auditorium.
One noteworthy item is the Concert Shell which will be utilized tonight. These moveable walls create a chamber, allowing sound to travel to the audience without being lost on the stage. This creates amazing tones and acoustical improvement.
For a fun night with the family and to support kids in our community, come out to the Estelle H. Yates Auditorium TONIGHT at 6:00 pm for the 5th Grade All-City Choir. It’s sure to be a great way to spend this Tuesday night!
