When it comes to art, bigger may not always be better. This month, Artesia Public Library hosted the Tiny Art Show. Any material was fair game to create a one-of-a-kind piece but it had to be 7 inches or less in size. Two years and up were eligible to submit an entry.
There was nothing small about the talent of these artists. Each depiction displayed a level of skill and flair. From clay to yarn, from paintings to photography, much time, effort, and care was poured into each of these projects. Art has a way of conveying feelings and passion like nothing else can.
Be sure to stop by the library THIS WEEK to see the artwork for yourself and to vote for People’s Choice. You can also check out the library’s Facebook page to see the winners. If you missed out on entering this year, make a mental note to participate next year. Whether you are a seasoned artist or just starting to explore this world of possibilities, the Tiny Art Show is a must-do!
