Carlsbad’s Riverblitz is coming up. The annual cleanup event is scheduled for 7-11 a.m. on March 4. The focus of this cleanup is along the Pecos River. Pick up of provided supplies will begin at 7 a.m. at the Riverwalk Recreation Center. Members of the Eddy County Sheriff’s Posse will be cooking lunch for all participants. There are also many other cleanup opportunities scheduled around Carlsbad and Eddy County throughout the year.
