Have you ever been mesmerized by the tango and wondered if you could do it? Well… now you have the chance.  The Artesia Arts Council is sponsoring a Tango Workshop on Sunday, February 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center. Camrada’s “Tango Obsession” will be teaching the workshop followed by a dramatic performance at 2:00 p.m. Tango Obsession features musical selections from the traditional tango of Toto Damario and Mariano Mores, to the seductive rhythms of Astor Piazolla’s beloved masterworks. The program will include a variety of tango styles of Tango Nuevo – dark and sultry with driving tempos to sunny and syncopated.
