The Eddy County Recycled Art Contest will be held March 2 – 18, 2023, at the Artesia Public Library. The contest is sponsored by Artesia Clean & Beautiful. Any art that uses 75 percent materials that had a previous life can be submitted, according to Linda Stevens, Executive Director of Artesia Clean & Beautiful. There are no entry fees and no age limit to entering. The entries will be divided into age groups for judging. Library patrons can vote for their favorite in each age category for the People’s Choice Awards.
Prior to March 2nd you can bring your entries to the Artesia Clean & Beautiful office at 422 W. Main Street or before noon on March 2 to the Artesia Public Library.
“In the past we have had fabulous, fabulous stuff come in that was super interesting,” said Stevens.
