Painting of the Artesia water tower by Viking Painting LLC is nearing completion, according to Director of Infrastructure Byron Landfair, as reported at the December 13, 2022 City council meeting. The water tower is located on 8th street. According to the City regularly painting water tanks prolongs the life of the tanks by helping to prevent corrosion and other problems caused by weather, pollutants and other external elements.
