For 25 years Light Up Artesia has been an amazing family event to kick off the holiday season. This year will be no different!

Santa Claus will be escorted downtown with the Artesia’s Parade of Lights at 6:00 p.m. with a theme of a 90’s Christmas. The parade will make its way from the Bulldog Bowl down Main Street and turn right on 2nd Street. 

You can experience the wonder of thousands of lights in the trees along Main Street where outdoor vendors and retailers will sell holiday gifts and treats and the Artesia High School choir will be performing.

This year you can view the contestants of the first annual holiday window decorating contestants with a theme of winter wonderland. Main Street businesses are competing for cash prizes in two categories: People’s Choice and Judges’ Grand Prize.
