The AHS Varsity Football team brought home state title No. 31. The final score was- Artesia 27, Piedra Vista 14.
This is Artesia’s 31st title in 37 appearances. Bulldogs now solo at No. 3 on the NFHS national list of most championships, just one behind No. 2 Little Rock Central, AR. Top two teams have been counting since 1905 and 1907; ‘Dogs won their first in 1957.
