Riverside Country Club in Carlsbad will kick off a groundbreaking celebration on Saturday, November 19 at 9:00 a.m. with the Annual Turkey Shoot 3-person scramble golf tournament. The Groundbreaking Ceremony with the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce will begin at 3:00 p.m. A barbeque cook-off contest between Lance Moore and Matt Alexander will begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by a brisket dinner and entertainment by musical guest Gunnar Latham at 6:00 p.m. Latham is a promising young country, artist/writer from the Texas Hill Country.  The Latham concert is sponsored by Carlsbad Ford and Carlsbad Chevrolet.
