It’s a very busy week for our college. Southeast New Mexico College is presently in the process of interviewing six finalists for the presidency.
These finalists are: Dr. Billy Adams, who is the Vice President of Instruction at Panola College in Carthage, Tx; Dr. Kevin Beardmore, the Vice President of Student Affairs at Owensboro Community and Technical College; Dr. Katy Cecil-Sanchez, Vice President of Instruction at Lone Star College-University Park in Houston, Texas; Dr. Andrew Nwanne, Interim President of Southeast New Mexico College; Dr. Lorenzo Reyes Jr., Associate Vice President of Workforce, Economic and Resource Development at San Juan College in Farmington; and Dr. Larry Sanderson, Vice President of Institutional Research and Accreditation at New Mexico Junior College.
Each candidate is currently participating in a one-hour forum that consists of a brief introduction of each candidate, followed by a Q&A session. These sessions began on Tuesday and will conclude on Thursday. We hope members of the community have been able to participate in this important process. If you have any questions or suggestions about this process, please feel free to reach out to our ACCT Search Consultant: Julie Golder, J.D., Vice President of Search Services, ACCT, jgolder@acct.org or (202) 384-5816.
