Thomas “Tommy” Anaya Teague, 51, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. Tommy was born in Carlsbad New Mexico on June 16, 1971.

Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Cremation will follow, and a memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home, followed by interment at the Carlsbad Cemetery.

Tommy was one of the most remarkable people anyone could meet. He was very outgoing, and loved his family and friends. Tommy shared a big love for bowling and had the absolute best playlist of music anyone could have. Tommy was always someone you could always count on to make you laugh till your stomach hurt. He was a true genuine man, and he will truly be missed. Forever & Always!!!

He is survived by his wife Diana Teague of Lubbock Texas and two fur babies Millie and Zoey. He is also survived by both parents Bill & Vi Teague of Carlsbad NM, father-in-law Frank Huereque of Carlsbad NM, brother Billy Teague & wife Stephenie of Carlsbad, NM, sister Kristy Munoz and husband Pedro of Carlsbad NM, sisters-in-law Eva Cruz & husband Kenneth of Carlsbad NM, Lorraine & Abel Castillo of Carlsbad NM, Martha Huereque of Carlsbad, NM, and brother-in-law Frank & wife Terri Huereque of Ridgecrest, California. Thomas is also survived by 18 nieces, 11 nephews, 36 great nephews and 23 great nieces. And one Godson Steven Carr.

Thomas was an amazing husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly

missed with every day that goes by.
