The Carlsbad Police Department will be hosting a mass casualty incident training scenario on Thursday, August 4 from 4 PM until approximately 8 PM at Carlsbad high school. Members of the public may notice a large number of police, fire, and EMS vehicles at the high school during this time period. THIS IS S A DRILL.  Thank you to the members of the community, including the Carlsbad fire department, Carlsbad Municipal Schools, the Eddy County Sheriff‘s Department, Eddy County and Carlsbad Medical Center who assisted this is important training opportunity.
