June 25: Ducky Affair- the Assistance League of Carlsbad’s annual fundraiser is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Carlsbad Water Park. The event provides $5 tickets for rubber ducks, for a chance of winning. The splashdown is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to pick the winning duck ($1,500 prize), as well as a pokey paddler ($500 prize).
June 25: City’s Summer Concert Series – JD Strait performing at the Water Park Gazebo from 7-9 p.m.
June 25-26: Lake Carlsbad Golf Course – Stroke Play City Championship tee time. $30 entry fee. For questions call the Pro Shop at (575) 302-9477.
All Week: Carlsbad Museum Galactic Warriors/Rituals of Mesoamerica Exhibit through September 3rd. Also, Summer Art Academy classes through July. $25 for one-day family art and Adult classes are $10.
