I have devoted my life to creating as a singer, as a songwriter, as a poet, writer, and painter. Art and all its myriad of forms has shaped my life, and nature continues to be my steadfast inspiration. With oil paints, reactive dyes, and raw tints I create fine art jewelry, visual works of art, and wearable silks at my studio on Canyon Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Oil painting is a door to a multiverse of color. The complicated blending and balancing of medium and paint to create an imagined hue is the labor; putting brush to canvas and through force of habit, allowing the arcs and undulations of movement to create a visual image…is the joy.
