In addition to the many events of Artesia’s C4, first ever, Comic-Con, the Artesia Arts Council hosted a Pop-Up Art Contest. During a Pop-Up Contest, a social media call-out for artistic submissions is placed. Submissions were delivered to the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center, operated by the Artesia Arts Council, to be judged and awarded placement.  There were three categories judged: the adult, teen, and child categories. Megan Lemon took the 1st place title for adults, Lilla Hutchings was awarded 1st in teens, and Zulema Segui took first in the child category.
