In case you missed the fabulous display at the Artesia Public Schools Administration Building located at 301 Bulldog Boulevard, here’s the review. Art Educators across the district brought their favorite student pieces to the West Wing of the Bulldog Training Center to energize the space. Art teachers Margaret Bustamante, Juli Newton, Joslyn Rodriguez, Brandi Cox, and Tim Trenton, contributed different types of student work in a variety of media.
Some of the exciting projects included pinatas by Zia students of Joslyn Rodriguez. The pinatas came in all shapes and sizes that the students had crafted into lattes, ice cream cones, cacti, lady bugs, tacos, and many more. A new category for the all-school art show was photography. Student photographs revealed beauty at the micro level of insects, feathers, and water. Stay tuned for the next student display! The display pop-ups at the APS Administration Building once every semester.
