We have received word that Eddy County 4-H is bringing home another state title. The Eddy County 4-H Shotgun team of Nathan Lewis, Dillon Lopez, William Heath and Mason Cartwright won the 4-H Shotgun Championship. Heath was also high point individual, whole Lewis and Lopez tied for third. Lewis then won the tiebreaker. Jacob Dowdy claimed the 7^th high individual in another shoot while Mason Cartwright came home 9^th in the final shoot off. 

Eddy County’s Team 2 claimed 5^th high team overall as well with Dowdy, Jacob Griffin, Brylee Holder and Savannah Tupper representing Eddy County very well. The state champion team will represent New Mexico at the National Shooting Sports Championship in Grand Island, Nebraska, next month.
