On Monday, Carlsbad Medical Center reported ZERO in house COVID-19 patients. This is the first time since July when this has taken place. CMC also reports only two positive COVID-19 tests over the weekend. All other organizations in the area report very low numbers as well. 

Many of you are familiar with the “case count” of COVID-19 cases that the state has been putting out for the past two years. The New Mexico Department of Health has now changed its reporting system. Instead of a daily case count, the NMDOH will now be providing COVID-19 data on the following web page – https://cv.nmhealth.org/epidemiology-reports/

Let’s all hope and pray that COVID-19 numbers continue to dwindle. We will keep watch and provide periodic updates, as needed.
