What’s happening over Spring Break in Artesia? A lot! There’s even enough programs to mix and match and create the ultimate experience for your youth.b The Recreation Center, the Artesia Aquatic Center, and the Artesia Arts Council all have youth programming during the week of Spring Break to keep students engaged and active. 
 
At the Artesia Aquatic Center, students 5-11 years of age will participate in age appropriate activities designed to encourage fun, friendships, and swimming skills. The program will follow a week-long camp style format and run Monday through Thursday March 21-24 from 8 am to 5 pm. Price for the camp is $150 per child. Call the Aquatic Center at 575-746-8525 for inquiries or to register their student(s).
 
Join the Artesia Center April 21st-25th for a week of fun games, crafts, and activities. Limited Space is available to Artesia School District students in 1st through 6th grades $25 for the week $10 for daily drop-in Monday through Thursday 8 am to 5 pm Friday 8 am to Noon pm. 
 
The Artesia Arts Council presents their Spring Theatre Camp with actress Whitney Wegman-Wood. The camp is divided into three categories. For the Auditioning category, the price is $25 a day for students 12-18 of age and runs from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. Whitney will work with each child to prepare audition materials and hone their performing skills.
 
In the Improv and Clowning Category for ages 7-11, the price is $25 a day and Whitney will teach the art and fun of improv and clowning around. Improv and Clowning runs 10:30am to 12:30am. 
 
For the Stories and Imagination group for ages 4-6, the price is $10 a day and Whitney will work with littles to create fun characters. This group begins at 9am and runs until 10am.
