Maxie Dan “Max” Boren

Maxie Dan “Max” Boren, 66, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away February 12, 2022 at Providence Hospital, El Paso, Texas.

Max was born April 30, 1955 in Abilene, Texas to Maxie B. And Frances (Ives) Boren. He was a surrogate father to many.  Max was a people-person, never meeting a stranger.  He cherished his family deeply.  Max enjoyed playing golf and watching football.  His grandsons were the light of his life.  Max was preceded in death by his father, Maxie B. Boren; wife, Andrea Reed Boren and sister, Sharon Washburn.

Survivors are his son, Justin Boren and wife, Ali; daughter, Shannon Kolc; fiancé, Christina Martinez; grandchildren: Riley, Connor, Isaac, Luke, Evan and James; mother, Fran Boren; sister, Susan Green and husband, Norman; brother, Tim Boren and wife, Shelly and numerous nieces and nephews.
