Artesia cheerleaders competed in Lovington, New Mexico this past weekend. The cheer team received a first-place distinction in one of the numerous categories, and then placed 2nd overall in the competition to be the grand champions.  

The cheering squad has worked steadily over the past few weeks especially. They earned a 2nd place spot in a competition hosted in Roswell last week and maintained their momentum throughout this past weekend to high achievement. Congratulations to the young women who came together to perfect their routines and to their coaches who helped bring them all together! Go Bulldogs!
