Linda McKibben
Linda McKibben, 79, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away January 27, 2022 at Sunset Villa Care Center, Roswell, NM. Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Gifford officiating.
Linda was born May 14, 1942 in Springer, NM to Ward and Ruth (Vannest) Hinckley. She enjoyed crocheting and making all her children and grandchildren blankets, but most of all she loved being with her grandchildren and watching them play sports. Linda was a long-time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Raymond D. McKibben.
Survivors are her children: David Slaughter and wife, Linda of Boise, ID, Susan Klotz of Portland, OR, Kenneth Slaughter of Boise, ID and Terry McKibben and wife, Jill of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Jennifer Klotz, Wesley McKibben and Meagan McKibben; brother, Ward Hinckley and wife, Sandra; sisters: Lorna Lusk and husband, Doug, Alberta Boss and husband, Don; and numerous nieces and nephews.
