Obituary

Funeral services are scheduled for Iliana Marie Juarez Briseno at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 30, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Artesia, NM.  Pallbearers will be Israel Juarez, Lalo Juarez III, Daniel Juarez, Benjamin Chavez, Gabriel Briseno, Michael Briseno, Steve Vargas, Mario Barragan and Tony Morales.

Iliana, 40, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, Godmother and puppy-mom was called to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Clovis, N.M.

On Monday, November 29th, Visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M.. with the rosary following at 6:30 P.M..  Fr, Vijaya Raju and Deacon Richard Rodriguez will officiate at the services. Cremation will take place following the services.

Iliana entered this world on June 14, 1981 in Artesia,N.M.  She was born to Salomon Briseno and Rosa Juarez Briseno.

She loved her work as a Children’s Social Services Specialist.  She will be dearly remembered for her kindness, compassion, always putting others first and loving her family and friends deeply.  Most of all she was an amazing Aunt (Nina) to her two nieces, Aubrieanna and Sahvanna as their Guardian.

Iliana is survived by her parents Salomon and Rosa Briseno; sister Christina Becerra, brothers; Nick Briseno, Salomon Joseph Briseno and Prudencio Salvador Briseno and Goddaughters; Aubrieanna Ellise Hill and Sahvanna Rose HIll.  She was preceded in death by her sister DeAnna Fe Juarez Briseno and grandparents; Hilardo & Eloisa Juarez and Prudencio & Jila Briseno.
