Obituary

A memorial graveside service is scheduled for 10 am Tuesday, October 12, at Woodbine Cemetery for Karen Ann Kelsey.

Mrs. Kelsey, 67, died on October 5, 2021 in Roswell, New Mexico.

Karen was born February 23, 1954 in Iraan, Texas; the daughter of Robert O. Hartley and Betty June Stanton Hartley.

She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, being outdoors, going to the casino, and spending time with her grandkids and following all of their activities.

She is survived by her husband Edward Kelsey; mother Betty Hartley; a son Wesley Kelsey; daughter Arren Powell and husband Mike; sisters Cathy Houghtaling and husband Ronnie, and Susie Maples and husband Royce; grandchildren Shoshanna Kelsey, Tayle Kelsey, Skyler Powell, Taysea Powell, and Kamryn Kelsey; great-grandchild Payson Blake Powell, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her father, a sister Nell Garver, and nephew Casey Joe Maples.
