Albert was born on March 26, 1968 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Florencio Lopez Sr. and Seferina Garcia Lopez. He was a longtime resident of Artesia.
On March 19,1994 he was married to Donna Clements at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Artesia, NM.
Albert worked tirelessly, in an industry in which he was truly passionate for where he held a substantive position! He was a man of many talents, where if he didn’t know how to do something, he would figure it out. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic church and the Men’s Prayer Group, as well as a member of Teams of Our Lady. He assisted with fiestas and most fundraisers they had. He never knew a stranger and always made everyone feel welcomed and loved even if he just met them. Albert loved to laugh and make others laugh. You knew that when Albert was there, you were going to have a great time. If you were picked on by him, it was because you were very special to him and if he didn’t pick on you, you were still quite special. He loved the rain and the times he spent when he, Donna, and their kids would go and pick up their comadre Gracie and would ride all over town in his gold car. Albert admired Tejano music and listened to it all day everyday, even as he slept. Albert was always a great provider for his family, an awesome father, and an amazing husband. Albert cherished his wife, whom he loved unconditionally! Albert loved to dance with Donna as much as possible, he even learned to dance out in the field so that he could take her dancing. They would glide across the dance floor, grass, or dirt, Albert and Donna were truly the image of what true love was and still is.
He was preceded in death by both parents, sister Beatrice Lopez, brothers Rick Lopez and Arturo Lopez, and by nephews Jonathan Lopez and Albert Lawrence Lopez.
Survivors include his wife Donna Lopez; sons Gino Lopez and Elijah Lopez both Artesia; daughters Santana Anaya of Roswell, NM, and Quanah Lopez of Artesia; brothers Hans Goller of Germany, Florencio Lopez Jr. of Artesia and Robert Lopez of Artesia; sisters Viola McHaney of Artesia, and Senaida Hutson of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren Nia Nieto, Araceli Montoya, Nevaeh Lopez, Angelo Lopez and Amiah Grace Lopez and numerous nieces and nephews.
