The Carlsbad High Swim Team competed in Hobbs in the District 3 Championship this past week. The girls tied for third place with Artesia while the boys finished third, according to members of the community.  The girls swim team heads to Albuquerque for the State meet on Thursday to compete in the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay, as well as three individual events. The boys team will compete in the 200 Medley Relay and one individual event on Saturday.  Congratulations to both teams. 

Finally, the Cavemen Trap & Skeet Team participated in the State Championships in Raton. The Cavemen won the state championship in Sporting Clays, 2nd place in skeet and 3rd in trapshooting.  Congratulations to everyone.
