This allocation, from the organization’s Special COVID-19 grant, included $13,270 to the SENM Community Action Corporation. SENMCAC provides more than 5,000 meals monthly to homebound senior citizens in Eddy County. The organization also provided mini-grants to Calvary Assembly of God’s food distribution program, Loaves & Fishes and Oasis Church Food Bank.

Also receiving funding were Artesia Emergency Relief, Carlsbad Transitional Housing & Homeless Shelter, Carlsbad Community of Hope and Changing Lives Coalition.   Thank you again to Linda Dodd and everyone with the United Way program.

Applications are also being accepted for the NM Mortgage Finance Authority’s COVID-19 Homeowner Assistance Program, which can help pay past-due or current mortgage payments for those experiencing a hardship because of COVID-19.  You can submit your application electronically to  https://portal.neighborlysoftware.com/mfacovidassist/Participant.  To request a paper application, call 505.308.4206 or 866.488.0498.
