More than 100 students quarantined in Carlsbad school district

Many parents received calls from our school district about several COVID-19 positives within the school district and the impact they will have on schools for the next few weeks. According to the school district, more than 100 students have currently been quarantined as a precaution due to these positive cases, as well as several employees.  Even students not under quarantine will have to make major adjustments for the next week or two. Our school district having to make a significant number of adjustments is certainly an excellent reminder that, while we are happy to be moving past the COVID-19 outbreak, we are not done with it yet. Please continue to keep students home if they have any symptoms and wear masks when possible.
