Duplex Apartments: located at 107, 109, 111, and 113 Kircher St. The owner is Jayden Jenkins. The contractor is Trend Builders. There will be 8 residential units. Permits have been issued. Work is 75% complete.
Thurston C-Hill Development: located to the west of Brentwood Place and to the east of Miehls Dr., this new residential development will create 14 new single family residential lots for development. The owner and developer of the property is Ken Thurston. This development is in the early planning stages.
Boyd Dr. Apartments: located at 1901 Boyd Dr. across from Santa Caterina Cemetery. The owner of the property is Marvin Albright. Wilson & Company is the engineering firm for the project. This project is in the preliminary planning stages.
Oasis Subdivision Phases 1-3: located to the north of Farmview Subdivision Phases 1-4, and east of Martin Farms Subdivision. The developer is Ken Thurston. Infrastructure and drainage dirt work is underway. This project will create 290 new single family residential lots when complete. Phase 1 of the project will be 135 new single family lots.
Martin Farms Unit 3: located to the east of Martin Farms Unit 2, east of Old Cavern Hwy. The preliminary plat has been has been approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission. The final plat for this subdivision has been approved and the developer has provided the City with a Letter of Credit that carries enough funds to finish the work should the developer fail to do so. This unit will create 51 single family residential lots. Sewer and water infrastructure installation is almost complete.
Hackberry View Estates Phase 2: located on W. Texas St., this development is an extension of Hackberry View Estates from 5 single family lots to 19 single family lots. The owner is JR Doporto. Mr. Doporto plans to install a City street and waterline to service the additional lots.
Peach Lane Development: located along Peach Lane east of N. Canal St., this property is owned by Trent and Casey Cornum. They plan to install 14 news single family lots on the north side of Peach Lane. The Cornums have submitted preliminary plans and plan to annex additional property along Peach Ln. for further development.
Arrowstone Apartments: located at the intersection of Hidalgo Rd. and Boyd Dr. Permits have been issued. This will create 132 new apartment units. The owner/contractor is Crestline Building Corporation. This project is 35% complete. Valuation is $13 million.
Carlsbad Apartments: located at 301 W. Chapman Rd. Permits have been issued. Gallardo Construction is the contractor. This will create 120 apartment units. This project is 45% complete. Valuation is $14 million.
Lea St. Apartments: located at 513 and 511 W. Lea St. 14 new apartment units will be built. Permits have been issued and work is underway. The contractor is True North Construction Services LLC. This project is 85% complete. Valuation is $1 million.
Village at Carlsbad Phase 2 Apartments: located at 3821 National Parks Hwy., this project will be Phase 2 of the Village at Carlsbad Apartments. The owner plans to install 96 units during this phase of the project. Planning for the project has begun, and the Planning Department has met with the developer and engineer for the project.
White Oak Development – Apartment complex: located on Boyd Dr. north of Hidalgo Rd. This will be a 189 unit apartment complex. The developer, White Oak Development, is in the initial planning stages, and they have met with City staff to discuss the building permit process as well as utility issues.
