Obituary for Ima Dale Reynolds

Services are scheduled for 10 am Monday, February 1, at West Main Baptist Church for Ima Dale Roberson Hughes Reynolds.
Pastor Jason Kraft will officiate at the services. Burial will be at 3 pm at the Hughes Ranch Cemetery at El Paso Gap, Dog Canyon, N.M. Pallbearers will be Milton Hughes, Clinton Hughes, Trenton Hughes, Trey Hughes, Shelby Beard, and Travis Beard.  Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 2-4 pm on Sunday.
Ima Dale was 99 years old. She was born June 2, 1921 to W. A. “Bill” Roberson and Winnie Mae Fancher Roberson at Strawn, Texas.
She was married to Samuel O. “Sammie” Hughes for 32 years. They were married on April 2, 1942 and lived on the Hughes Ranch in the Guadalupe Mountains until he passed away on May 20, 1974. She later married Arvil Reynolds on November 27, 1976 in Carlsbad, N.M. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2006.
She was a homemaker and an active member of West Main Baptist Church and several Bible Study groups. She loved to do volunteer work. She and her husband, Arvil, were active in Eddy County Rescue, Meals on Wheels, and Christian Camp work; as long as he and she were physically able.
Survivors include a son Dale Hughes and wife Jennifer of Artesia; step-daughters Louise Baker of Canyon, Texas and Jolene Goodwin and husband Charles of Carlsbad, N.M.; grandchildren Justin Hughes and wife Stephanie, Sherri Davis and husband Howard, Randy Koenig and wife Tami, Sami Newcom and husband John, Tami Odum and husband Greg, and Jessie Koenig; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, a daughter Judith Koenig, four brothers, a grandson Ty Hughes and a granddaughter Elizabeth Koenig.
