“No one does Barbecue like Henry’s Barbecue in Artesia New Mexico.”
Restaurant owners, Jon And Tawnya Henry are closing the doors to their locally famous BBQ joint on January 31, 2020. The staff at Henry’s BBQ have been serving up delicious meats and sides, homemade deserts, and great customer service for many years (over a decade if we could guess?).
This closure is an unfortunate loss for the town of Artesia, the locals will miss the home style restaurant and delicious food. Many struggle to say farewell to the Henry family who served their community with far more than amazing food. In a Facebook post, the Henry’s explained- “In the words of our famous Bosslady, “my man-child needs a classroom” and so they are off for a new adventure! And mama’s everywhere are nodding their heads in understanding. Sometimes you sacrifice for those you love. And for what is best for them. Thank you, Artesia. We will never stop wearing orange or rooting for you this next semester.”
