Private family services have been arranged for Hector Manuel Mendoza, Jr. of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Mendoza, 66, died December 19, 2020 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Cremation will follow the visitation at Ballard Crematory under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Hector was born January 17, 1954 in Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of Hector Mendoza, Sr. and Mercedes (Martinez) Mendoza.

Hector Mendoza married Mary Ann Acosta on Decmber 10th, 1974 and is survived by 5 sons; Dominic, Eric and wife Jessica, Abraham and wife Ruby, Adam, and Isaiah Mendoza. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Aahliyah, Kia, Esmond, and Emily Mendoza.

Hector was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His hard work ethic, was always admired by many, as well as, his uncanny ability to fix anything. His sense of humor was infectious and brought a smile to everone’s face. He was also a devout member of the congregation of Jehovah’s Withnesses for 36 years. His presence left a strong, lasting impression on, not only friends and family, but everyone he ever met. He will be dearly missed.
