Heirloom Acres opens to public October 2nd

From duck races and yard games to campfires and corn mazes, there is so much to do in addition to picking your pumpkins at Heirloom Acres. Starting this Friday, the Joy family is opening their gates for locals and visitors to visit the farm land they’ve worked so hard to harvest.

“Our Heirloom Acres is also about the values of family, hard work, and great fun that have been passed down to us from generations before. Stuart’s family has owned the farm for over 100 years, he is the fourth generation to work this land.  The Joy Family invites your family out to the farm to pick that perfect pumpkin from our patch, get lost in our 8-acre corn maze, and enjoy some tasty treats ’round a campfire.  Whether you are a local or just passing through, we invite you to make Heirloom Acres part of your fall family tradition!”

The attractions this year include pick-your-own pumpkins, corn maze, campfires, the Bee Line (kiddy zip line), yard games, duck races and a petting zoo. There will also be a concession stand serving nachos, pig on a stick, Frito pie, sweet treats and drinks. Per the latest Public Health Order, tickets must be purchased online, tickets are $10 (ages 3 and younger enter for FREE).

$1 from every ticket sold this Saturday October 3rd will be donated to The Pregnancy Help Center of Artesia! Purchase your tickets here.
