Tony Chavez, of Artesia is has challenged himself to run 100 miles November 14th. His races have been cancelled this year, so here’s a great way to get out and support a phenomenal, local athlete.
We are asking all runners, walkers and anyone who wishes to cheer on Tony throughout the day on November 14th to please come out. Ring a cowbell, hold a sign, cheer him on as he tries to complete 100 miles in 24 hours. He will start at 12am November 14th and finish at midnight on November 5th. Here are ways to show Tony support:
1. Making a pledge:

3. Race Support Runner/Walker:
*With a $25 donation or more, you will receive a t-shirt to wear that is specifically for this event.
As a race supporter you will choose which time and how many miles you’d like to run with Tony. If you can’t hold the same pace as him just to have people out there running knowing they are supporting you is huge! He will know who you are by your t-shirt that you will receive on November 13th.
Pecos Running Club will be providing all of Tony’s water, Gatorade, nutrition and anything he needs for this event. He has trained hard and he’s ready. Are you ready to support Tony and run a few miles with him on this challenge?
