Grand Height Early Learning Center in Artesia was evacuated on Thursday because a member of their staff tested positive for COVID-19. APS superintendent, John Ross Null released the following statement.
“Grand Heights Parents: Please be advised that a staff member at grand heights has tested positive for Covid-19. For the safety of our students and staff and under the advisement of the NMDOH, the building will be closed for deep cleaning until Monday, August 24th. There will be no classes for the remainder of the week. Those considered possibly close contacts with the staff member are being contacted. Please watch for additional information including how the Thursday/Friday students can get their packets for next week. Thank you!”
