A memorial service is scheduled for 5:00 PM, Sunday, May 10, 2020 at 1003 Pecan Ave. for Phyllis Mae LeCompte of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. LeCompte, 88, died May 2, 2020 at her home in Artesia.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Phyllis was born December 12, 1931 in Ludlow, Massachusetts to Oswald Lavigne and Hazel Herbert Lavigne. On July 24, 1948 she was married to Albert LeCompte in Ludlow, They came to Artesia in 1978. He preceded her in death on February 22, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Alan LeCompte, and daughters Dottie Fay, and Carol Ann LeCompte.

Survivors include her son Phillip LeCompte of Oklahoma; daughters Linda Dobbins and husband Robert of Artesia, Lynne Jewell of Artesia and Tina Roncalli of Artesia; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great.
