Character Parades to brighten the day for Artesia’s youth

Many lucky residents of Artesia have already caught the parade of characters spreading joy down the streets of our community. The local business, Fame One, began mini-parades this Wednesday 4/15/2020 in Artesia and quickly became a town sensation. Facebook was soon flooded with pictures of fun characters parading down streets with children’s excited expressions following.

Owner Andrew Andrade explained that the decision to do something big for their community during this difficult time came to them rather easily.  “Spreading happiness is what we do! We truly missed being active in our community, seeing all the littles so happy when they see their favorite performers is why we do this.”

Fame One’s Facebook page today has taken a step further reaching to our Local Wal-Mart Employee’s and First Responders to offer a free mini-parade specifically in appreciation for all they do.

Donations can be made to Fame One, that will be given directly to each performer for donating their time to the mini-parades.
