Artesia woman donates leggings to assist medical workers during COVID19 outbreak

Carrie Beggs Montgomery, a 3rd grade Teacher at Hermosa Elementary and also a LulaRoe clothing consultant, decided to lend a helping hand in a very unique way to the medical community- one pair of leggings at a time.

Carrie says the passion to start this operation was while watching the news and hearing about all the medical personnel that were having to take such extreme precaution to avoid cross contamination with their families.  Knowing that they go from the front lines of saving our citizens, to having to change clothes in their garages or their vehicles.  Carrie, personally felt the need to do something that could help them, saying “their time is precious and I wanted to show appreciation for that, their daily sacrifice doesn’t go unnoticed.” Carrie purchased a box of 90 leggings and ships each individual package herself. A total of 40 pairs of legging were given out to Local Medical Personnel in Artesia, Roswell even Ruidoso, reaching as far as Texas & Kentucky.

“I will be donating OS and TC leggings to healthcare workers to wear under their scrubs so that they can easily remove them and be ready to walk out the door without the worry of contamination. This will include, doctors, nurses, EMTs, firefighters, PAs, assistants of any kind. There is more to give, if you know a medical professional in need please contact via FB Carrie Beggs Montgomery or email at lularoecarriem@gmail.com.”
