Obituary for Olga M. Balerio

Private graveside services are scheduled for Olga Madrid Balerio, of Lake Arthur, N.M., at Woodbine Cemetery.

Mrs. Balerio, 58, died March 30, 2020 at Artesia General Hospital.

Fr. V. J. will officiate at the services.

Olga was born February 4, 1962 in Artesia, the daughter of Saturnino Madrid and Refugia Madrid.

On September 20, 1984 she was married to Mancerrate Balerio.

Olga was an amazing woman. She always had a smile on her face. She went above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of others begore herself. She enjoyed spending qulaity time with her family and friends; having long conversations about random and important things. Her favorite colors were purple and blue. Olgas hobbies included cooking and baking. She loved to sew. She enjoyed coloring and working on puzzles during her downtime. She also enjoyed watching her favorite shows, such as Little House on the Prairie and Walker Texas Ranger (SHE HAD A CRUSH ON CHUCK NORRIS) . She was an exceptional woman with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed laughing and making others laugh as well. Olga will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her husband Moncerrate Balerio Sr., her son Moncerrate Balerio Jr., Her daughters Monica Lopez, Judy Sainz, and Michelle Balerio. Also by her grandchildren, Tatiana Balerio, Ana Gabriella Lopez, Javier Moncerrate Sainz, Cielo Judith Sainz, Cristian Vargas, Araceli Vargas, Faye Nova Siefert, and Xander John-Cage Siefert. Her siblings Sulema, Grace, Samuel, Sally, Miguel, Corina, Rosa, and Jose.

Forever in our hearts may she R.I.P . Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
