Coronavirus in NM- 5 new cases confirmed, bringing total to 28

New Mexico now has 28 presumptive positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the governor expects that number to grow.

WHO AND WHERE ARE THE PATIENTS:

Bernalillo County:

  • A woman in her 70s with recent travel to New York City
  • A woman in her 40s, the NMDOH is investigating a possible travel link in that case
  • A male in his 50s, who is a close household contact from a previously reported case
  • A woman in her 80s, who is a close household contact from that same case
  • A woman in her 70s, who is a close household contact from a previously reported case
  • A woman in her 50s
  • A man in his 20s
  • A man in his 30s
  • Another man in his 30s
  • A man in his 40s
  • A man in his 20s
  • Two woman in their 30s
  • A man in his 80s

Santa Fe County:

  • A man in his 40s with travel related exposure, location unknown
  • A woman in her 60s with recent travel to New York City
  • A woman in her 50s with recent travel to Italy
  • A woman in her 20s with recent travel to New York City

Socorro County:

  • A married couple with recent travel to Egypt.

Sandoval County

  • A woman in her 60s
  • A man in his 50s

Taos County:

  • A man in his 50s with travel related exposure, location unknown
